Graduated from Central Academy, 1920; graduated from Central College, B.A. degree, 1924. Listed in Who's Who in the Midwest. Married Edna J. DeBruin, 1924, and they have two children, Ray A. and Erma H. Member of the Reformed Church in America Consistory. Member of Kiwanis International, Pella Golf and Country Club, Pella Historical Society, American Sunday School Union, Central College "C" Club, Men's Brotherhood and the Pella Hospital Association. Board member and president of Bethesda Hospital, Denver, Colorado. Elected to first term.
