Visitation: The family will greet friends after the burial with a lunch on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the United Presbyterian Church in Newton.
Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the United Presbyterian Church in Newton.
Interment: Immediately following the funeral serivce on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at Newton Union Cemetery.

Those left to honor Marjorie's memory are her son, Roger (Esther) Beyer of Newton; granddaughter, Candace (Kent) DeGoey of Newton; her great-granddaughter, Madilyn DeGoey; 2 step-great-grandchildren, Jamie and Jordan DeGoey; her 3 sisters, Florence Verrips of Pella, Agnes Pease of Colfax; and Beverly (Grodon) Shissler of Marion; brother, Andrew (Lorena) Conn of Colfax; and her many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nora (Sullivan) Conn; husband, Willie E. Beyer; and her siblings, John Conn, Mildred Carnahan, Grace Brady, David Conn, Edward Conn, Lindsey Conn, Robinette Van Arkel, and Jim Conn.

Marjorie was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and several women's groups.

She enjoyed baking, embroidering, visiting with family and friends, and having tea parties with her great-granddaughter, Madi.

Memorials to Hospice of Jasper County or the United Presbyterian Church may be left at the church the morning of the service
