Funeral services were held for Mrs. Harry Rensink on Monday, September 5th, at 1:30 p.m. at the Vande Ploeg Funeral Chapel in Sheldon with Rev. H. G. Schoon of Boyden officiating.
Pallbearers were Calvin Heemstra, Bert Engelsman, Jonn Siderius, Peter L. Moret, Okko Roos and John Sitter. Burial was at the Boyden Cemetery.
Mrs. Rensink, nee Gertrude Van Roekel, daughter of the late Abraham and Neneteja Van Roekel, was born April 10, 1902, at Sioux Center, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to Harry Rensink November 19, 1923 and lived at Hull, Iowa, Denver, Colorado and Boyden, Iowa.
To this union a daughter (Ella A.) Mrs. Tom Smith of Denver, Colorado, was born.
Mrs. Rensink passed away at the Sheldon hospital September 2 following a heart attack at the age of 62 years.
She is survived by her husband and daughter, 3 granddaughters, three brothers, Henry Van Roekel of Boyden, George Van Roekel of Sheldon and Tony Van Roekel of Sibley, besides other relatives and friends. Mrs. Rensink was a member of the Bethel Reformed Church in Sheldon.

Harry Rensink, 86, of Denver, Colo., formerly of Boyden, died Monday, Aug. 31 at Denver.
Services were Saturday in the First Reformed Church at Boyden. The Rev. Sylvester Moths officiated. Burial was in the Boyden Cemetery.
Mr. Rensink was born Dec. 9, 1894, in Sioux County.
He married Gertrude Van Roekel at Boyden. They lived at Boyden and Denver. She died in 1966.
Survivors include one daughter, Ella Smith of Denver; one brother, Leonard of Boyden; two sisters, Mrs. Henrietta Teeselink of Summit City, Calif, and Mrs. Julius Damstra of Primghar; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
