Obituary of Jacqueline

Jacqueline Merriam Newkirk, 66, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008, in a local hospital. She was born in Pipestone, Minnesota, on February 15, 1942 to the late Jon E. B. and Frieda Mouw.

She was employed as an Account Manager with Leitner, Williams, Dooley & Napolitan law firm and was a member of the Chattanooga First Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Her husband of 20 years, Clifford L. Newkirk, and son, Scott Anthony Newkirk, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Kiff Newkirk and his wife Mikki; Kody Newkirk and his wife Heather; Krista Newkirk and her husband W. Lewis Glenn III; sisters, Jean Arias; Joan Griffin; and grandchildren, Kaya, Kiana and Lance Newkirk and Conrad and Holden Glenn.

Arrangements by Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, and Roper and Sons Funeral Care, Lincoln, Nebaska. Funeral services will be held Saturday December 13, 2008 at the Chattanooga First Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment at College View Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska.
