Mr. John J. Klein passed away at the Sioux Center Community Hospital late Friday noon. He had reached the age of 54 years and two days.
On April 4, 1932, he was united in marriage to Johanna Van Roekel at Sioux Center. To this union were born four children, three of whom survive; Betty (Mrs. Dale Irwin) of White Water, Wisc; Shirley (Mrs. Ed Arbaugh) of San Antonio, TX; and Vickie Klein at home. One son died in infancy.
Mr. Klein is further survived by his aged mother, Mrs. Kate Klein, of Sioux Center, five grandchildren and the following sisters: Alice (Mrs. Hilbert Heynen), Agnes, (Mrs. Dave Sybesma), Dena (Mrs. Clarence Duistermars), and Billy (Mrs. Bert Engelsma)

Johanna J. Klein, 65, Sioux Center, died October 13, 1976 at a Sioux Center Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Klein, the former Johanna Van Roekel, was born March 8, 1911 at Sioux Center. Johanna married John Klein on April 4, 1932 at Lennox, South Dakota. John died September 3, 1965 at Sioux Center.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lee (Becky) Hodo of Anchorage, Alaska, Mrs. Ed (Shirley) Arbaugh of Alexandria, Virginia, and Mrs. Don (Vicki) Meuer of Sioux Center; four sisters, Mrs. Neal (Mina) Kroon of Rock Rapids, Mrs. Ben (Jeanette) Kraayenbrink of Sioux Center, Mrs. Art (Alice) De Goei of Orange City; Mrs. Jean Mieras of Boyden, Iowa; a brother, John G. A. Van Roekel, and seven grandchildren.
