Son of Abe and Nelvera Schiebout.

Nolan D. Schiebout, 50, of West Dundee, Illinois, formerly of Orange City, IA, died Thursday, April 12, 2001, in West Dundee, Illinois.

Services and burial were held in West Dundee. Arrangements were under the direction of Laird Funeral Home in West Dundee.

Mr. Schiebout was born Oct. 19, 1950, in Orange City, the son of Abe and Nelvera (Roos) Schiebout. He was baptized in the Christian faith.

He married Annette on Oct. 4, 1975. He was employed with Motorola for many years and was currently employed as a program manager in Arlington Heights, Ill.

He was a member of Christ the Lord Lutheran Church in Elgin, Ill., where he sang in the choir. He enjoyed playing the trombone.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jessen and Kyle; his parents; two sisters, Arlyce of Canada and Denise Schiebout and her husband, Joseph Dixon of Michigan; a brother and his wife, Firman and Cheryl of China; and nieces and nephews.
