Gerald "Jerry" Arvin Korver, 67, passed away Wed., 6 April 2016 in Salt Lake City, UT. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Marcia; his children Cheryl and Rodney; mother Lillian; sisters Sylvia, Marlene, and Mary; and many devoted nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Marvin.
A Vietnam veteran, Gerald retired as a LtCol from the USAF in 1993 after 26 years of honorable service. Later, Gerald worked as a driver and instructor for CR England and RN Industries. Most recently, Gerald was proud to hold the position of CDL instructor at UBATC.
Never one to shy from hard work, he was a farm boy at heart. He loved his wife, family, and animals. Gerald's big heart, infectious laugh, and amazing hugs will be missed by all who knew and loved him. An amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend; the world is a sadder place with his passing.
Services will be held Sat., 16 April 2016 at 2:00 PM at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, UT with a viewing Fri. from 6-8 pm and one hour prior to services on Sat. Condolences may be sent to larkincares.com
